Broadcast Technician

About the role

Support studio and remote broadcast operations hands-on: rigging cameras, patching feeds, prepping flypacks and keeping the technical facility running show after show.

Responsibilities

• Rig and de-rig cameras, CCUs, intercom and tally
• Patch and verify video, audio and comms paths pre-show
• Prep, pack and inventory flypack systems for remotes
• Monitor signals and log faults during transmission
• Assist engineers with maintenance and firmware programs

Requirements

• 2+ years broadcast or live video experience
• Solid understanding of SDI, embedded audio and timing
• Careful, checklist-driven working style
• Travel availability for remote productions

Preferred qualifications

• Intercom systems experience with RTS or Clear-Com
• IP video exposure
• Sports remote credits
