Broadcast Engineer

About the role

Engineer and maintain broadcast infrastructure for studio, remote and streaming productions. You'll own routing, timing, monitoring and transmission paths, and be the person the gallery calls when a feed drops.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SDI and IP routing, timing and reference distribution
• Configure encoders, decoders and contribution links
• Shade cameras and manage colour matching across the fleet
• Build monitoring, tally and intercom systems
• Document signal paths and lead fault resolution during transmission

Requirements

• 5+ years broadcast engineering experience
• Strong SMPTE 2110 or 2022-7 knowledge
• Experience with Evertz, Ross or Grass Valley infrastructure
• Calm, methodical fault-finding under live conditions

Preferred qualifications

• SBE certification
• Remote-integration (REMI) workflows
• Streaming CDN experience
